Blue Hour & The Moon

I just wanted to create a post with a little update from us.

We’ve had a crazy busy last couple of months as we’ve finally been able to move flats. We were living in a little one bed flat in Leith and we were really struggling whilst we were there with mould, attempted break ins and so on. So we are super thankful to have been able to move outside of the city centre to a beautiful 2 bed flat overlooking the sea.

The move has meant we now have very slow internet as we aren’t able to get wifi so please stick with us as it may take us slightly longer to get to emails / get galleries to you but we have definitely not forgotten about you!

We have a super busy and exciting December ahead with lots of beautiful Elopements & Weddings and we are so grateful to be able to work again.

We’ve also spent a lot of time and money investing in education for ourselves and our business recently. We took part in the Wedding Photographer Summit hosted by Jai Long and it was honestly incredible. We learn’t from so many talented industry professionals and we cannot wait to watch what we learn’t come into fruition in our business. We’ve also purchased other courses so we can keep on learning and bettering ourselves as storytellers so we can capture your stories as authentically as possible.

I’ve been spending a lot of time indoors as the days have been getting super short so I’ve been trying to get up when Nathan does for work and watching the sun rise. A couple of days ago when I woke up the moon was still high in the sky so I grabbed the camera and managed to capture it from our living room window (scroll to the bottom to peep at the moon). And then other day Nathan & I headed down to the beach as the hour turned blue and we took a couple of photos. I’m really enjoying the blues in nature at the moment - there’s something so peaceful and calming about them.
