Kat & Craig | Intimate Glencoe Elopement

My heart cannot get enough of these two.

I wept at every stage of this wedding. When Kat reached out to me and told me their story I cried my eyes out, when they booked I cried, when they actually got married I cried and when I edited their photos I cried.

Kat was living in Australia and Craig who is from Scotland had been spending some time over in Australia and their paths crossed and they fell in love and they embarked on the most wonderful adventures together and then COVID hit and Craig was back in Scotland and Kat still in Australia. The distance was painful and they decided they never wanted to be apart again which is why they wanted to elope, they had no idea how or when but they knew they were going to make it possible and THEY DID IT.

It was a seriously rainy October day in Glencoe but my goodness did it make it all the more romantic. Our cameras fogged up and we just rolled with it and honestly I think it created the most authentic photos because that misty condensation haze just fully encapsulates how it felt.

Anyway Kat & Craig have gifted us with the most incredible new friendship (we’re now on each other’s ‘close friends’ list on instagram and if that doesn’t scream life long friends I don’t know what does ahaha) and I am so incredibly grateful for them. Here’s what their gorgeous rainy Glencoe Elopement looked like.
