Han | Isle of Skye Soul & Earth
I fell absolutely in LOVE with Han the second she reached out. She just embodies the most healing, soulful energy and oh my goodness what an honour it was to photograph her as we celebrated her inner child in the most ethereal folklore way.
Her response to her gallery had me in bits so I’ll share her words here too:
“Joanna! I already raved to you a bit, but a few specific things I want you to know:
You absolutely blew any of my expectations out of the water - these photos are SO so so me in the best way. I feel like I finally see *myself* in photos and not what other people posed me to be. I'm able to look at myself with love because YOU created an environment where I felt safe and captured the images with such love yourself! You will forever be a photographer who I look up to and find such inspiration in. Thank you for seeing me as I am! You are the best of the best!!!
Your ability to storytell through a gallery is ASTOUNDING (as I'm sure you already know, but it's just nice to be reminded sometimes).
I treasure the memory of this morning so deeply, from myself conquering that wild near-offroad-drive to us barely being able to find where I left my camera bag hahaha. I truly loved spending time with you!”
