Sarah & Tylo | Glencoe Elopement

It’s an honour to love and be loved.

To see it in art.

To feel it in nature.

To hold it tangibly in your hands.

To hear it in a laugh or soft whispers in the dark.

To hold it close. To treasure it.

To give it freely.

To write it in poems.

To sing it in songs.

To share it in silence.

It’s presence is there.

It can be overwhelming,

underwhelming,

And everything in between.

It’s a joy to explore,

full of lessons to be learned,

joys to be shared,

memories to be made,

and adventures to be had.

Sarah & Tylo had a really really beautiful faith based Elopement Ceremony in Glencoe. Their ceremony was centred around God & the beautiful nature surrounding them and it was really really special. Their minister, Jane was an absolute legend, she carried the flowers, waded through the river and brought so much joy to their ceremony! We’re so grateful we got to work along side her.

Sarah & Tylo are both from South Africa but living in London and they felt their hearts call to the Scottish Highlands for their Elopement. They were both so full of joy throughout the day (even when feet may have been submerged in a river as we attempted to cross via stepping stones in order to reach their ceremony spot and they just laughed it off).

Jane brought them together in marriage with a beautiful ceremony that included hand fasting and drinking from the quaich.

We absolutely loved getting to know these two and feel so deeply honoured we were able to photograph and film this beautiful season of their lives.
