Molly & Fin | Edinburgh Elopement Styled Shoot

We absolutely loved getting to be a part of this styled shoot of what a modern day Elopement in Edinburgh can look like. This gorgeous shoot was the vision of Tamar & Matt (from Tamar Hope Photography) and will play a part in something super exciting they’ll be announcing soon.

Each Edinburgh Elopement I have had the pleasure of shooting has been executed in a different and equally as beautiful place each time. From shooting outdoor ceremonies on Arthurs Seat to shooting in the City Chambers before adventuring round old town. Edinburgh is filled with stunning and magical locations. Something Tamar wanted to bring to light within this styled shoot was that when planning your Edinburgh Elopement you don’t have to pick one spot in Edinburgh but that you can travel between multiple locations and I couldn’t agree more.

This styled shoot lasted roughly 3 hours and we started on Arthurs Seat before heading to portobello beach (probably my all time favourite spot in Edinburgh). So with more time you could absolutely go to even more locations in Edinburgh - you could even do the old town, portobello beach & arthur’s seat all in a day. That way you could tick off mountains, cities & the beach all in one (this is literally why I will forever believe Edinburgh is the best city to go to).
