Jamie & Nikolay | Glencoe Elopement

Jamie & Nikolay had booked our wonderful friends Tamar & Matt from Tamar Hope Photography and Matt Willo Film to capture their day. With their baby due at any moment they hired Nathan and I to associate shoot the day so they could await the safe arrival of their bubba Shiloh (if you want to go and feel extra broody go check out their instagram @thewillos - you won’t be disappointed).

With so many last minute changes for Jamie & Nikolay - having us shoot their day, their accommodation have to cancel on them and the rule of 5 being put in place for their day they welcomed all the changes with open arms and had the best day ever.

We met with them and their gorgeous pup - Alaska (best name ever) at the Three Sisters in Glencoe where they had their ceremony with the breathtaking cloudy mountains as their backdrop. When I say it was spectacular that is a complete understatement.

They read their vows to each other and the air was filled with emotion. This day was something special and something Nathan and I will remember forever! After their ceremony we wandered down into the valley where they danced, drank hot chocolate and just let it all sink in. We then headed down the road to where they should have been staying to get a bit of reception where they set up a Facebook live and re-read their vows with all their family and friends being able to join them online.

We are just so so honoured to have spent this day with them as their witnesses and stand-in photographers / videographers and we’re so honoured to have been able to work for our dear friends whilst they awaited the arrival of their bubba.
