Catriona & Antz | Isle of Skye Elopement Inspiration

Picture this: You wake up on your Elopement day at the Skye Red Fox Retreat. The view of Trotternish Ridge before you. You help your partner get ready and do one last read over of your vows. We head out into the field infront of Skye Red Fox Retreat as the sun is rising giving us all those Pride and Prejudice vibes. You soak in that scenery and breathe in. You’re really doing this.

We hop in the cars and head up to the Quiriang Car Park where we meet your celebrant - Onie. We walk a little way along the trail and head down to a grassy patch with incredible 360 views. It’s here Onie brings you together in marriage. You read your vows, tie the knot and drink from the quiach. You did it.

We spend the rest of our time together exploring the Quiraing and the Fairy Glen. Making memories and starting off your married life in the most beautiful way.

We absolutely loved putting together this styled elopement as part of our storytelling elopement workshop. We really wanted this elopement to feel as authentic and real as possible and we couldn't be more grateful to Onie who we had booked as our celebrant. She went so far above and beyond for Catriona & Antz bringing so much of their personalities and their story into their ceremony. She even had a hand fasting tie made with a third strand to represent their dog! So so so sweet.

We love getting to offer educational days like this and really showcase what eloping in Scotland can look like!
