Diana & Paul | Isle of Skye Elopement

Diana & Paul embarked on the adventure of a lifetime! They travelled up to the Isle of Skye where they Eloped through a chorus of Scottish Elements! Thunder, lightning, rain, hail and 44mph winds wasn’t going to stop them!

They braved the elements as we all headed down to their ceremony spot at Brothers Point where we quickly did the legal side of things before pacing it back up the hill - each and everyone of us soaked to the bone! Their plans may have changed a little but it added so much to the adventure of the day!

We went back to their accommodation where we signed the documents and dried off as much as we could and then we headed to a spot Diana & Paul had visited the day before! We were met with sunshine & then rain & then sunshine again. It was here where they read their own vows to one another, their mothers letters & the incredible @susanthecelebrant finished off their hand fasting ceremony. As Diana is from Porto they very fittingly brought with them Port to drink from the Quaich! It always brings so much joy to our hearts seeing how people intertwine sentimental details into their days!!

Their day was beyond beautiful and a real adventure! It was an honour and a privilege to witness their marriage let alone photograph it! This may have been the most challenging weather we’ve been faced with but equally it was the most joyful and adventurous day we’ve ever had the honour of being a part of! We truly have the best jobs in the world!
