Life is precious. Chapters of our lives can pass us by if we don’t take time to pause & to reflect & to intentionally hold onto the moments that shape who we are.

Cristina + Alex were married in November of last year surrounded by all their loved ones & whilst that day was so extraordinarily special to them they knew they wanted to have a moment of celebration just for the two of them. A moment where they could exchange their own written vows and be fully present with one another. No distractions, just the gentle sounds of nature flowing around them.

So they embarked on a wild adventure from Ohio to New York to London to Oxford to Edinburgh to Mallaig and finally to Skye. Covering a whole plethora of modes of transport including planes, trains, ferries & busses they made their way to the Isle of Skye where they’d declare their vows over an oathing stone. They had the most heartfelt and sentimental ceremony lead so beautifully by Francesca. Bursting with emotion.

Cristina + Alex stole our hearts the second we met them and I truly feel so completely enamoured by their story & by every delicate detail that went into their day. They brought with them and so delicately wove into their attire pieces of their loved ones carrying them with them worlds apart.
