Audrie & Brady | Oregon Cinematic Story

When we were in Oregon we were teaching at an incredible photography retreat hosted by Kenny Marshall. He also had Layni Becker in as a guest educator too and so she did a talk and lead a shoot and oh my goodness was it incredible watching her cinematic brain at work. Layni’s work is so beautifully centred around cinematography and colour and getting to see how she orchestrates this when she’s shooting was amazing.

For this shoot Layni worked along side Audrie & Brady to piece together a story. The inspiration was Bonnie & Clyde vibes and it was so fun getting to work in a way that is so different to how we usually work with couples and yet SO in tune with my director brain from training as an actor and director at Drama School.
