Aly & Ben | Glencoe Adventure Session

I’ve been working on lots of education for photographers recently and this sweet session with Aly & Ben was as part of my Group Storytelling Mentorship Session I Hosted a few weeks back.

I wanted this to feel as real and raw as possible for both Aly & Ben and also for Joni & Matt who I was mentoring. We started the evening off meeting everyone together for a drink, chatting about storytelling and going through a powerpoint before we headed out into Glencoe to put that all into practice. We focused on composition, playing with light and keeping Aly & Ben moving.

Aly & Ben were the greatest sports, the sweetest souls and it was such an honour to capture their love as part of this and hear all about their story. Being from opposite sides of the earth their story of how they met and how they got married deserves to have its own film!

Together they ran through the moors, got stuck in the mud and shared lots of laughter with us all!

I’m so grateful and feel very blessed to have been able to start sharing education with other photographers & I really love doing this!
