Aisling & Joe | Isle of Skye Adventure Session

At the end of June Nathan & I had the absolute honour of filming a top secret Elopement on the Isle of Skye and it just so happened that whilst we were up there 2 of our best friends were heading up to Skye for a little getaway so of course we had to hang out!

We hadn’t seen Aisling and Joe since we were photographing and filming their wedding back in July 2020 so we were super excited to finally get to see them again for a brief 24 hours.

In the evening we hiked up the Old Man of Storr for sunset - as we headed up there super late (around 8pm - gone 10pm) we pretty much had the area completely to ourselves (bar some evil blood sucking midges - but the more we sweated the less they wanted to eat us ahah). I took my camera just to capture some memories for ourselves and for Aisling and Joe and ended up loving just how authentic they came out!

The next day we headed to the Quiraing to show Aisling and Joe our favourite view in Skye - the sun was beaming so intensely bringing out the Greens and Blues of Scotland so proudly! We then headed to Staffin for a paddle in the sea, and to just soak it all in and then headed to Portree for a bite to eat before Nathan and I headed home and left Aisling and Joe to venture round the island for the rest of the week.

We are so grateful this job allows us to travel so much and to see so many beautiful places and we’re so so thankful Aisling and Joe were up on holiday in Skye at the same time!
